Located on the East coast of England close to the North Sea shipping routes, Felixstowe is both a good natural harbour and the busiest container port in the UK. For ships visiting British waters it is one of the most common ports of call. The Seafarers' Centre welcomes all seafarers visiting the Port of Felixstowe and the Port of Ipswich. Use our free Shuttle Bus service, that runs on demand between the dockside and the centre, to come and enjoy our rest and recreational facilities. Our Chaplains make visits to as many ships as they are able and are available to help seafarers' with their problems. This is an ecumenical mission and their concern is for your welfare irrespective of your faith or creed. As a charity it is a non profit making organisation, so we keep the cost of our services down to a minimum.
